Prototype - Alpha PhosFilter Floating Filtration Chambers
PROPRIETARY
Assembly continues on the new design of a floating filtration chamber system. The system is scalable as additional "island" systems can be added to meet water body size and nutrient loading scenerios.
The system will float just below the surface of the water.
A floating island of aquative vegetation will cover the chambers and add additional nutrient uptake.
The system includes multiple small and managable chambers contained within a floating holding structure. The protype is constructed with a PVC frame.
A submersable pump will feed the raw pond water into the individual chambers via flexible hose. The chambers will contain "OPEN" filter media trays.
The water will be directed to the bottom of the individual chambers and flow through the chamber directed in a "turbulent path" designed to make maximum/thorough contact with the PhosFilter media.
The "open" media concept reduces the blinding over issues that are inherant with filtration media fabric pouches.
